The Cubs are playing at an 86 win pace outside the NL Central and a 45 win pace inside it.

And their best record in the division is against the Cards, though it's only 2 games.

1-1 vs. StL

3-10 vs. Cin

3-6 vs. Pitt

1-4 vs. Mil

With Pittsburgh winning and the A's, Red Sox and Braves losing, the teams with the three best records are in the NL Central.

This has been kind of an odd season for baseball.

Pitchers coming through again with the bat.

It's ridiculous that the Cubs' pitchers seem to routinely perform better with RISP than our core hitters. (And I know stats would indicate they don't)

I'm not sure I'm as disappointed in Starlin whiffing on strike three way outside the zone as I am in him missing the mistake down the heart of the plate for strike two.

I'm fond of Feldman. Too bad he'll likely be gone in 60 days.

If we still have him in 60 days, you can keep being fond of him. Chances are he'll be with the team for the rest of the season at that point.

I just know I'm disappointed. Just so very disappointed.

So he will be gone in 60 days. He'll just have been gone for 15 days by then so you're both right.
