usually i would just hand out justice swiftly and harshly with no concern for anyone else's opinions or feelings, but since this instance involves my matchup i figured i better check in with everyone.

brian used 9 starts this week. i took away his two highest scoring starts (gomez' first start and gee's miracle in yankee stadium as it has come to be known). however, he had a 20 man roster on 5/27 and 5/28. that lyons guy from the cardinals was on his major league roster on monday (5/27) and tues (5/28). he dropped him on 5/28, possibly when he realized his roster was overstuffed.

when raw did a similar thing in week 7, here is what i did...

he had four reserves from 5/15-5/17. for right now, i'm just going to take away strasburg's start since we know he got those points when he had four reserves. i do not feel like scrolling through 3 [expletive] days of box scores for all of his offensive players. so, i'll just take away strasburg's points and if raw's point total is a factor at the end of the season i guess i will take a couple hours out of my day to scroll through the box scores of all his hitters from 5/15-5/17 to figure out how many points he should lose.

in this case, this would mean taking away leake's start from 5/27 (25.5 points). this would flip the outcome of our matchup.

please weigh in with what you think should be done here.

I think what you propose makes sense. Having 20 guys for 2 days technically would result in removing all his points for those days. Some meaningful penalty is required and any meaningful penalty is going to result in a changed matchup. If you just took away the best start from the team the last time this happened, then I'd do the same thing here.
