The next night was worse.....Alf blew a 6-4 lead with 2 outs in the 8th, then Juan Cruz gave up a single with 2 outs in the 9th to give the Sox the win.

After having to sit through the Sox pre-game, and listen to how the Cubs would have no chance against Sale coming off his extra rest, I wanted a win pretty badly but just putting a couple up early was awesome. The booth got pretty quiet after that.

I am hoping that we will have cubs pre-game even if they are finishing yesterdays game. For a while I thought we were playing the '27 Yankees.
