he had absolutely no idea the wall was there. horrifying.

 

doug glanville has been tweeting a bunch today about how the warning track is pretty worthless and that it's really difficult to actually feel it while you are pursuing a flyball, which isn't really something i'd heard before. is this a thing? should we be trying to improve the warning track? maybe it could be made out of quicksand. that would lead to some interesting strategic considerations.

Cover the entire warning track with potato chips. When you hear the crunch, you're near the wall.
