So much talk about Crawfords woes. Will the media talk about Rask allowing 6?

Just mentioned it on ESPN. Really just a comment, though.

It was not a good night for the goalies :)

NHL net chick said both goaltenders were outstanding.

Wait, were there people saying Chicago didn't dominate this game? I'm no hockey savant but they owned the bruins.

For my part, I was pissed at the crazy crap that made this game go to OT. It never should have.

Not sure if he's doing some mind trick on us here.

Y'all are out of your [expletive] minds. The Hawks dominated this game. Out chanced them almost 2 to 1, and only a tired/bad defense kept it close.

Both teams had equal amounts of pressure. I think the home atmosphere and crowd made Boston's chances seem bigger and more frequent. It was a very even game.

No it wasn't, statistically. Hawks were just bad on the PK and left too many open shots on rushes coming back at them.

I don't know stats for scoring chances it just seemed like it was even or in Boston's favor. I see shots were 47-33 Hawks.

Chara, Marchand and Seguin were -3. So was Hammer. Rozsival, Keith and Bickell were +3.

It only seemed that way in here because 75% of the people in this thread this week thought the series was over already and the Hawks are outclassed.

didn't get to watch the game, but what a series.

were the blackhawks actually lucky/bad, or was it just normal in-game venting? i saw the stats first and figured they kind of dominated, but then saw this thread.

also, crow was allowed this one. niemi had games likes this in the 2010 postseason too

It was frustrating but it was Boston pulling [expletive] out of their ass.

They totally meant to bounce one off the glass over the net. Set play.

That quote was first response to second part of question. Seemed clear he wanted to to say the playing time was not health related.

Yeah, when you've got a puck dropping out of thin air, right on to someone's stick --- at that point it's clear you're running uphill.

i didn't see it, but that's not really a "set play", it's usually something guys will try once in a while and see if they get a fluke bounce.

Right. Didn't see him do anything terrible. Nothing worse than the 5-6 horrible plays Keith made or the goal Oduya caused.

I mean, Crawford was off, Leddy didn't play, Hossa was a non factor, the rest of the D was tired and/or terrible, and the Hawks still managed to score six goals and win.

I don't know. Everyone's "fine" right now. I wouldn't read too much into that. He must have been rattled or something. Q would be crazy to play most of a game without a man, with the season on the line. I don't buy it.

Have we really seen a weak glove hand from Crawford, consistently?

I was confused by that. Doesn't seem to match up with what I've seen from him. Not that he's the world's greatest, but that was terrible.

No, it was just a bad night from Crawford. He gets one, and the Hawks didn't even lose.

They certainly didn't own the OT

They owned half of it and like 75% of regulation.
