Please win tonight. Even if we don't win the series I'd love to at least make it competitive in terms of number of games.

Woke up with a good feeling about this one, which means nothing but whatever. Just trying to think of times where the Hawks have needed to step up their game this year. Game 4 against Minnesota after being outplayed and losing game 3 they responded with 2 dominating wins to close out the series. Down 2-1 against Detroit the Hawks outplayed Detroit on the road despite losing and then dominated game 5. In game 6 they entered the 3rd period trailing on the road and responded with 3 goals to take the game. Game 7 they scored the winning goal but got screwed over and responded with the series winner early into OT. Game 5 against the Kings they were 9 seconds from winning and gave up the tying goal, they kept their composure and won in 2 OT. game 1 against Boston they were down 3-1 midway through the 3rd and managed to win. Desperation has brought out the best in this team and hopefully that continues tonight.

I'm really liking the lines tonight too. If they load up against that top line, hopefully we can get some contributions lower down the roster. I think that Saad, Shaw, Stalberg line has potential.

It's hard not to be doom & gloom, but I'm not giving up hope unless they lose tonight and go down 1-3.

They can still salvage this thing, but obviously another game 3 type performance isn't going to cut it.

They have Glenn Healy on CBC Radio, and he was just talking about the [expletive] talking going on between the benches (he shares that small area with Pierre). He said there's some good stuff being said, and he's quick on the mic kill button.

He said the best he's ever heard was the 2010 Final, when five of the Flyers were going through divorces. He wouldn't go into specifics, but apparently the Hawks were brutal on those guys.

Hossa looking pretty bad in warmups.

Hossa's been fighting it all playoffs. I feel certain after the playoffs we'll find out Toews was playing injured too.

That's the luck of hockey. If that deflection is a couple inches lower, it's on Krejci's stick and the game is tied.
