win 1 of the next 2, then 1 of the last 3 and we're playing for the cup again

I like that every Hawk interviewed mentioned that the Kings are undefeated at home. I was especially glad to see them not take game 2 for granted- which is what they basically did in the first 2 series.

maybe somebody else mentioned this earlier, but didn't cheering the anthem start before '91?

edit: never mind. Saw that it was '85 like I had thought. Wasn't that the Hawks first season as a franchise? Or was that when they switched their names from the Decatur Staleys?

hopefully for la, richards gets right for the next game. otherwise, ballgame

not a big fan of bickell leaving his leg out for contact a couple of times, esp. on that doughty play. no need to resort to that kind of thing

wasn't crow's best game either, but there were moments of brilliance that just weren't there last year. if he keeps this up, there will be some awful 'eating crow' comments. can't say enough about his play all year long

also, saad. that 'excuse me ma'am' on doughty was nasty. he's been beasting, and it's only a matter of time

There's some serious speed on that 3rd line with Saad and Stalberg

Man, listening to Sutter is a bit different than listening to Babcock.

i was super concerned about back-to-back games, home or not. awesome job to jump out to a 2-0 lead.

I was happy about the back-to-back. I thought that definitely gave the Hawks the advantage. Knocking Quick out of the game was so sweet. Hopefully that gets into his head a bit. It would be great if we can take 1 out of 2 in L.A. That would put us in the driver's seat to head back to the finals.

I was very concerned about the back to back mostly because of LA's great home record and their goalies ability to win one on his own.

If not for the schedule, he probably finishes that game. I doubt it will have any negative effect on him.

Game 3 becomes do or die for them. If ever there was a game that Quick could steal this would be it. I hope that the Hawks believe what they are saying and are taking the Kings seriously. I think the scum series showed them what can happen if they don't come out with purpose.

Sounds like he was nixed because of concussion symptoms during warm-ups. Never good to see that happen to a player. I wouldn't mind if he doesn't quite get into his groove again until next year :). But I hope he's OK.

Can't blame Bernier for trying to draw Crow into doing something dumb there. He's just lucky Emery wasn't playing.

A playoff goalie fight would be a little over the top. Were the Detroit-Colorado brawls in the playoffs?

I don't know if there are any Kings forums out there, but I wonder how pissed they are about no further penalties for Bolland? To be honest, I couldn't blame them. If the shoe was on the other foot(and one of our better scorers was knocked out) we'd be pretty pissed too about no suspension.

Sounds pretty balanced over @ letsgokings.com, with some bemoaning no suspension, others wanting to move on, and others saying it should have been an in-game penalty.
