I tried to kill 2 birds with 1 stone and drop Rondon while picking up someone else on waivers, but I got beat out for my claim.

 

But I have a minor league spot open. A) Are we allowed to still pick up any minor leaguer to fill our spots? B) what's to stop me from picking up Rondon to fill that spot?
