Better hitter, way more power. He's a legit top 10 guy.

 

I think I'd prefer Jackson, Holmes, Freeland or Fedde to Gordon if they're all fringe top 5 guys and Hoffman isn't an option.

Gordon is a definite shortstop, plus speed (but not as fast as his brother Dee). Better hitter, getting bigger with more power.

 

Fedde is tall and skinny so he's protectable. Works 92-95, has hit 97. Good, potential future plus slider. Great athlete. Law is definitely higher than him than others.

I like Gordon now, but I've always been a Dee fanb0i so...

I want a pitcher at 4. It's what's strongest in this draft, it's what we need most and there's nothing close to a sure thing among the hitters this year.

I've heard Nick Gordon attached to the Twins at 5 too. I think he's the first hitter taken, and he could go anywhere from 5 to 9. Alex Jackson is a wild card but could be in the mix for some teams in the top 10. Doesn't seem like a college bat goes up there, though. Brad Zimmer would be most likely but I think he goes 12-15.
