The league should review that and issue a fine. That's a good way to get a serious back or tailbone injury.

probably should be a suspension, to be honest. that's messed up

Detroit more or less eliminated Phoenix with that win. Riotville clinches their division with their win.

Stars vs. Sharks is the game of the night.

Jets-Caps for me. Great game so far.

Ladd's been on fire lately.

So with Dallas losing in regulation last night, it looks like its going to come down to Columbus and Detroit for the 8th seed. Minnesota is 2 points up on Columbus so theres still a slight chance they fall to 8. Also Pittsburgh lost in regulation last night so the Hawks need 2 points in their last 3 games to clinch the presidents trophy

I think Dallas might still be alive (barely) because they play both Columbus and Detroit in their remaining games. Detroit is in the drivers seat though because they have a game in hand on Lumbus

True and Dallas has more ROWs (20) than Detroit (19) and Columbus (17). If they won the last 2 games in regulation they'd have to hope CLB only gets 1 point or less in their last game and Detroit would only get 2 points or less in their other 2 games. Probably not going to happen but its more likely than I originally thought.

The road to the playoffs goes through Nashville who play both Detroit and Lumbus this week. Poor Stars.

Damn you, Detroit.

Welcome to the wonderful world of hating the Red Wings.

Its funny that Columbus has been in The Wings division since joining the league. I think they have played twice in the playoffs and now are fighting for last playoff spot. I still have no feelings one way or another about Columbus. I have thought and still basically have thought that this is about Detroit doing enough to get in, not any Wings vs Blue Jacket thing.

I'm pretty sure Columbus has only made the playoffs once in their history but they did indeed play the Wings.

it sounds like you care about them a little bit

Detroit's in and now Lumbus' playoff fate is in the hands of the Oil, who have to beat The Wild for them to have any chance.

Detroit isn't in yet.

Puck Daddy lied to me. I guess if the Wings lose in reg and the BJs win they would be out. The Wings have the better ROW so all they need is 1 point from the Stars.

Since I'm a fan of chaos with regards to team I don't care about, go Oilers. It would be hilarious if the Wild missed the playoffs

They have the tie breaker over Lumbus.

If Columbus beats Nashville and Detroit losses in regulation against Dallas, then Blue Jackets are in

I haven't looked closely but my best case is Jackets get in, just because I like them and it would be good for the franchise, and MN stays in 8th. Would much rather face the Wild.

I think if the options are to play Minn or Lumbus, you would be better off playing Lumbus in my opinion. Yes Bobrovski(sp) could steal a game or two but Minn has enough talent to win. They are just under performing for some reason. If a team was going to make a run like LA did last season my money would be on The Wild. Don't get me wrong I think The Hawks would beat either one(or the Wings) but if I had to chose of the three it would be Lumbus, Detroit, Minn in that order.

Oilers killing the Wild 4-0 in the 2nd period. Tomorrow could be a fun day for those last couple of spots.
