After that scrum I saw one of them bend over and reach toward the ice I'm almost positive that's what he was doing.

We'll just have to settle for being at least 10 points up on the entire league I guess.

 

the annoying part is that the ducks are still well within range. assuming they win tonight, they'll be 8 points back with 2 games in hand.

 

both teams will obviously come back to earth, and i fully expect the ducks to fall further, but the hawks need to keep winning.

I'm glad the streak is over. Tired legs last night (though the thin air can genuinely take a toll on any visiting team). I'd rather they expend their energy in the playoffs.

I wonder if now that the streak is over, they might rest some guys with more borderline injuries. You obviously don't want to punt any games, but if you can rest Hossa or someone who is banged up but could still play, would you do it against a team like Columbus?

He came back to the game and looked fine was there a suggestion after the game that he might miss some time?
