Sit/Start Championship Games (Week 16)

Congrats to those playing for big money this weekend. My mediocore team has managed to find itself in my league's championship game.

 

I have a WR dilemma. Must start 2:

 

Torrey Smith vs. NYG

Malcolm Floyd at NYJ

Lance Moore at DAL

 

FA possibilities:

 

Cecil Shorts vs. NE (Yahoo projects him to score the most of out all my choices)

Justin Blackmon vs. NE

Anquan Boldin vs. NYG

 

Ugh

had my worst week of the season last week, having to fill in Freeman for RGIII and Demaryius Thomas turned into Hollow Man

 

most points on the year, and i can't even muster 50 in week one of the playoffs...[expletive]

* Cam

* Stafford

* Kaepernick

 

I don't trust Kaepernick but [expletive] Stafford is burning up all his good will. I made it through last week with Stafford because everyone else came up big, but I'm wary of who to go with Sunday. Im guessing Stafford because at least you know he'll sling it around.

I don't trust Kaepernick but [expletive] Stafford is burning up all his good will. I made it through last week with Stafford because everyone else came up big, but I'm wary of who to go with Sunday. Im guessing Stafford because at least you know he'll sling it around.

 

Kaepernick has put up at least 18.5 in my league every week since getting the starting job. I think he's a better bet to have 190 yards passing, 40-50 rushing, and at least 1 TD than Stafford is to have one of those 400 yard, 3-4 TD games that caused him to be drafted so high against the Atlanta defense.

I'm glad they finally put Floyd out of his misery. Makes your decision easy. I wouldn't pick up any of those FAs to start over Smith or Moore.

 

I also somehow made my championship game but am playing the far-and-away best team in our league. Can't wait to face the two-headed monster of Foster and AP.

Thanks for the input. I picked up Shorts and dropped Floyd. I'm leaning towards starting Shorts, because Smith has done next to nothing the past three weeks.

Yeah I saw ESPN is really high on Shorts this week in their rankings. And having had Smith riding my bench all year, I've seen how crappy he has been. Nothing worse than seeing that fatass Anquan Boldin get all the targets.
