I'm so tempted to go read it, but at the same time I know that if I do I'm just going to end up annoyed and losing that much more faith in humanity.

if I were running the Cards, I'd be willing to offer up one of my top pitching prospects - Miller, Rosenthal, or C. Martinez - whichever I valued the least, to deal for Castro. If the Cubs are not ready to compete now, I would think they would value an elite pitching prospect over a very good, but already getting expensive, OF like Upton who is signed for only three more years.

that wasn't the worst point...considering that the cardinals farm system is exactly where the cubs are trying to get to...which of their top prospects would it take for us to trade with our hated rivals?

 

something like shelby miller, oscar taveras trevor rosenthal would be a good start...

I made it through 2 pages before I couldn't take the stupid anymore. There are actually a couple guys on there who are rational, but most of them are kind of like that YouTube kid who was raging against Edmonds when he signed with the Cubs.
