Who would you rather own going forward, Jason Witten or Brandon Pettigrew?

 

Witten just had a huge game, but got a lot of it in garbage time with Orton. Is he getting healthy and coming back as the Witten of old, or was it a fluke and he will go back to 5 or 6 catches while doing a lot of blocking and being ignored in the redzone. Pettigrew has had drop problems, you have to think that improves though, only had 6 drops total last year. Both have a similar # of targets but Pettigrew gets more looks in the redzone. I'm thinking of offering Witten for Pettigrew during their bye weeks. Since I'm in standard, redzone targets for your TE are king.

 

ETA: Witten does have a softer playoff schedule though.

Pettigrew (per PFF):

Since 2009 he’s ranked 10th, 1st, 5th and is currently 2nd for dropped passes this season.

if Witten's fully healthy now, i probably go with him

 

Pettigrew's safe in fantasy, because he gets targeted like crazy, but he kind of sucks in real life
