Dusty Baker left Wrigley for an area hospital and might not manage tonight's game:

 

CHICAGO — Reds manager Dusty Baker left Wrigley Field for a local hospital Wednesday afternoon. A team spokesman said that Baker was going to have a chest X-ray to rule out pneumonia.

 

Baker, 63, departed the ballpark in street clothes just over two hours before his Reds were set to play the Cubs. Bench coach Chris Speier will manage the club if Baker does not return by game time.

He is what he is. An okay backup option whose gonna hit somewhere between .220-.250 have an OBP around .300 and SLG around .350.

Granted, the park is not as full as it normally is, but the fans who were there were on their feet during Wellington Castillo's at-bat as he drew the base on balls to tie the game. You'd think it was the Cubs who were closing in on the division title instead of the Reds.

 

Kinda cool to see the fans getting into the game like they are.
