omg the Lions just scored twice in 18 seconds to tie the game, including a recovered onside kick and a hail mary.

That was almost exactly like Bears/Browns in 2001

It's really frustrating to see the offense struggle like this. Meanwhile, the defense, despite a gimpy Urlacher, is playing insane. I did not see that coming tbh.

The defensive line has been quite the revelation.

Yep. Guys other than Peppers are stepping up. Paea was a manchild today, showing why he was a consensus 1st round pick before his injury. And they are using McClellin perfectly right now too.

With Idonije, Paea and Okoye getting on the board today, every player that has played on the DLine for the Bears has a sack thru 3 games.

Tried telling you that this was, if not the best, one of the best defenses in the NFL last year.

Awesomeness.

I'm sure this was discussed but my concern with Cutler today was his inability to make basic throws. He missed several throws like a rookie.

Yeah, this is a typical slow start for Jay. The offense is still coming together. New system under a first time OC. It's not gonna be pretty.

lol Courtland Finnegan...

Asked what he saw from the Bears' quarterback, he said, "Not much. Not much. I think he had 190 yards passing, something like that. And no touchdowns. Typical him."

And Bradford comes just short of saying they beat themselves...

"We definitely didn't play well today," Bradford said. "Give them credit, they played us tough. But I think there are a lot of things when we look at the film that are going to fall on us. Things that we were in control of and just didn't handle. It was a tough game, a lot for us to learn from and move on as a group."

he was picked up and broken over a knee like bane and batman, he doesn't know what happened and don't hold it against him.

If getting completely and totally destroyed all up & down your OLine is just one of those things you look at tape and say "it's on us," then I would say every single loss in the history of the NFL is just on the losers. No winning team should ever get credit.

The truth is, this was a case where a dominant defensive unit showed up and took over the football game. Beyond that, the Bears offense needed to not turn the ball over a whole bunch of times and give them free points. For the most part they didn't turn it over. They played pretty poorly, but it didn't mean much today.

Next week, I think it will. Dallas has been less than thrilling so far, but that's a better team than Saint Louie.
