Not sure if this is what you are asking, but he was on the Orioles' 40-man and they designated him over the weekend. The Cubs put in a claim, so I assume that means he is now going to be on our 40-man.

Unfortunately our rotation is 60% is "revolving door of middle relievers ".

With Shark being shut down Saturday, our rotation will be Wood/Volstad/Germano/Rusin/this guy. Catching the Astros migh be a tall order, but it's looking possible.

The only way we catch the Astros is if we lose all six. We're 9 back right now and losing only five of six would mean we'd still be five games back with 18 to play. Even losing all six still leaves us three back with 18 to play. There's pretty much no chance we catch the Astros.
