Maybe if Vin Scully stopped coming in 4 hours before game time to do research, he wouldn't have material to fill up every last second of the game and could let people watch the game for a moment or two.

I know the Cubs have done a great job with defensive positioning this year, but that has to be slightly annoying for a pitcher when he gets what apparently is a routine ground out to second base and it becomes a double.
