Johnson & Maholm traded to Braves for RHP Vizcaino & Chapman

The Braves wanted Maholm and Johnson was a throw in. Johnson wasn't going to get the Cubs anything by himself. That said, I'm glad it worked out.

He is coming off TJS and is rather young and unproven. Great stuff though. But, what is really the big difference between him and Maples?

 

maples has thrown 1 minor league inning, while vizcaino can get it up to 97 and has had success as a 20 year old in AA?

 

I didn't see his AA stats. I hadn't realized he moved that fast.

 

The stats I saw were all A ball.
