Also, for those of you who don't regularly venture into the Minor Leagues section, BFD Jorge Soler is scheduled to make his US Pro debut DHing for the AZL Cubs tonight.

Runner on third, Rizzo grounded to a drawn in infield, they caught Johnson in a rundown and Rizzo napping off 2nd on the play.

What an odd thing to say just after Soriano homers on the 7th pitch of his AB.

CUBS are 23-25 (.479) when they hit at least 1 HR.... 14-28 (.333) when they don't

CUBS are 25-13 (.658) when they score first in the game.... 12-40 (.231) when they don't

Get away day for both teams...swing early and often!

What an odd thing to say just after Soriano homers on the 7th pitch of his AB.

I only have access to game day and noticed both pitchers had low pitch counts so it was posted before I knew Soriano came to bat.

 

For reference - Buehrle had 37 pitches through 4 innings.

And since then, Baker had a 5-pitch single and Soto a 6-pitch walk.
