Would you guys prefer FIP and other stats from Fan Graphs rather than the standard MiLB.com stats?

Some extra stats would be nice, yeah.

and praying for some progress for Concepcion.

Hmm ... looks like Wells isn't piggybacking tonight. Edit: So Wells came in in the 6th. Maybe that's when they were planning on him coming in, and decided to have Cruz bridge it.

Well ... Concepcion only gave up 2 runs. I guess that's a plus. Then again, he walked 5 in 4 innings. Baby steps, or something like that.

Marco with a couple hits and a double. The strikeouts are still there (1 tonight), but sure feels like he's turned the corner a tiny bit.

Hoilman continues his hit streak.

Daytona lost, but Szczur, Torreyes, Alcantara, Silva all had a hit.

Dae-Eun Rhee with a superb outing through 7.2. Very, very nice to see, although I hadn't been bothered by his start to the year.

Marco's K/BB ratio for April - 5.75/1

So far in May it's 3.5/1. Plus he's batting .300 this month in 30 ABs with a double, triple and two walks. Can't say he's completely turned the corner because it's too small of a sample size, but he's half way through it...

VittersBB! Feels like it's been awhile.

Heck of a game for Josh. 3-4, two doubles and a walk. Pretty soon he might even have decent looking slash stats.

Anyone know if Szczur is okay? He came out of the game after a HBP today.

Until his next slump.

Brett, on the other hand is 5-32 w/4BB since his May 1st 4 hit game.

While he's certainly dug himself a hole as to whether not he'll be able to put up a solid looking state line this season, I'm starting to think the cold weather may be a solid reason for at least some of Marco's early season struggles.
