Does Soto have any value at all? At this point just get whatever you can for him and Byrd. Bring up Castillo to go along with Clevenger and bring up Campana or whoever if your not going to call up Jackson and have them rotate in CF. Nothing can be worse than Byrd at this point.

This line-up is a fireable offense. You have a chance to win 2 out of 3 on the road and Sveum puts out this crap. No one expects the Cubs to be very good, but this is ridiculous.

Well, if LaHair's back is acting up there's not a lot of left handed bench options. So I get that one.

 

But Reed? Leadoff?
