This has been a really good game so far. Lots of good D being played. Soriano with the great sliding grab and Desmond with the leaping grab. There were a few other solid plays on the defensive end earlier than those. For a 1-0 game its been very entertaining.

watching the ab by Byrd, I was thinking about how he'll get high fives in the dugout for making an out. Got me wondering how much difference "productive outs" really make. I'd love to pull in all the data for the past seasons and rank hitters based on expected runs for the inning before and after a player's pa's.
