Why does Marmol get more boos than Wood? He was just as bad!

Is this a serious question? Wood basically won our only playoff series in any of our lifetimes single handedly.

What's that got to do with blowing the second game in a row?

Nothing, but it's why the average meathead cub fan will always love Kerry Wood.

You don't just get cheered or booed based on what you did on that day. Wood has a lot more built-up goodwill than Marmol. The fact that he got booed at all is a bit surprising.

I mean it is what it is. He's Kerry Wood, its gonna take a lot for him to get booed a lot here.

Today that made a lot of sense. We stacked up with mediocre righties who can at least kind of hit the lefty, then we didn't adjust to the right-handed bullpen.

Pat Hughes is already shilling tomorrow's game with the weather and no mention of the team itself.

They had to tease us by designating DeWitt for assignment before bringing him back.

:good: Going to be an awesome year, enough grit, hustle, small ball, and decent starting pitching to stay in games long enough to blow them in the later innings.
