Bodog was recently taken over by something called Bovada (if you type in bodog.com it redirects you there), and all the accounts on bodog all work there so its still legit, but bodog is kinda slow on payouts, sometimes taking 2 weeks until you see the money.

 

Someone recommended the site 5dimes.com to me and said the lines are better than bodogs (more reflective of vegas odds which are more accurate and less prone to moving during the week), and the payouts are quicker. I haven't actually tried it yet but the reviews seem positive.

I just used the frightening new bodog spawn. I'm never gonna put any new money into it, but I figure I'll try and double up a few times and get out, or zero out. I hadn't deposited in 2 years, so that money's already out of sight out of mind.

 

ETA: And I just got rejected by my friend's bookie, so yeah, if anyone wants to suggest one that doesn't get horrible reviews(BetUS), that'd be great.

I figured out how to get the most upside out of my bets this weekend. It would basically make my weekend if any of the Texans, Giants or Broncos win this weekend. So I'm going to take the Packers, Ravens and Patriots on a money line parlay. If the favorites win, I win. If any of them lose, I pay $100 to see something awesome happen.

 

Ps I realize I won't win much taking the favorites even on a parlay but oh well, I gamble to make games more enjoyable.
