I'm fine with Brewer as a bench player. I'm ok with him as a fill in starter. I do think we need someone else starting in that position for a serious playoff run.

 

Agreed. Can we get Ben Gordon for a TPE? Do TPEs exist in the new CBA?

 

TPE's do exist, but the Bulls can't use one. They aren't under the salary cap so they can't create one, and they have none currently to use. They're going to have to send salary somewhere in order (whether directly or through a third team) to make a deal work.

Yep. He should be gutting and gritting his way back in there.

 

He should be makign an effort commensurate with the 2/11mln we signed him to, yea. He went from day to day to a month overnight. Both team reports. And yea, I havent, nor likely will I ever, meet rip hamilton. Hes an idea of a person to me and not an actual person. Hes a basketball player to me, so when i say i lost respect, I mean, I lost respect for a basketball player.

I think we might have signed a guy to a 2 year please plus 3rd buyout, pushing ourself to the tax, and that guy for whatever reason is as unable to stay healthy as any player i can remember.

The SG spot needs to be addressed because I don't see how you can count on Rip staying healthy in the playoffs. I like Brewer, but he's not a starter on a championship team.

Remember the first game back from the All Star break, we had EVERYONE healthy and available? It was a great feeling, and it made a lot of us think that this would be the period where our team came together for the stretch run.

 

It took all of 12 days for us to have 4 rotation players including 3 starters out again.
