So Bears fans can say how Martz, Knox, or Hanie sucks, but I can't make a joke about it?

No, you can't repeatedly needle Bears fans in the Bears game thread, especially when your team of choice is not involved.

Personally, I had no problem with the call. I wanted a TD there and it was going to be tough to push it in. On the road with a struggling offense, you take your shots. The execution was not good.

This game should be so much worse than 12-7

Yup. That's I guess that's the silver lining. Although it could have easily have been 10-9 at halftime so it could have been better than 12-7 too.

it was a lack of practice and experience. you can't just lollipop that one.

Martz is beyond an idiot for that playcall. 2nd and 1, right? You don't call long drawn out screens in a short field. Defenders don't have much room to roam, it was a crap call.

How else do you throw a screen pass? That is on Martz, not Hanie.

Does every one forgetting that there was 33 seconds and only 1 TO? It's not like they were going to pound it into the endzone..

you dont throw it to a guy in the flat with 2 defenders around him. You have to eat that one, or run it yourself

Fine, just don't call a [expletive] screen on the 7 yard line.

This Reece guy can go [expletive] himself.

Raiders have already flipped field position in their favor, on the way to another probably FG drive

I'll say it again, don't throw a screen on the 7 yard line.

You can run 3-4 running plays in that time. The first one secures the first down of course. The point is, when you have an inexperineced backup QB playing and you are inside the Red Zone, you need to ensure you get points somehow. You only get so many chances to get points with a QB in Hanie's situation.

Answering my own question:

Most field goals made, game: 8, Rob Bironas, Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans, Oct. 21, 2007
