Yeah, except for all of those times where I did, you mook.

Jesus Christ, C.C. lecturing people for not admitting they were wrong or that they're not totally sure of what they're talking about. Next he's going to be chastising someone for spending too much money and being creepily obsessed with material things.

I have huge man wood for Knight/Sir/whatever cool title Thomas S. Ricketts. (I am making him an American Knight, idc)

I think we have a clear top 3 F.O. You could easily make an argument for it being #1.

Better question, do we have the best owner in the NL? MLB?

You are right and I apologize. I don't remember those times, but sir I trust that you did. Bury the hatchet?

In this age of evil rich people it's refreshing to have one on the side of justice and good. He's like the baseball Batman.

Yeah, he's seems like the ideal owner doesn't he? How he handled all of this was first class. Kept everything close to his chest. He's like a Bobby Fischer of the baseball world. I'm not sure if we are all impressed because we've never had anything close to this or he's just that good.

Although, the Blackhawk owner (can't think of this name) is pretty damn close.

Rocky Wirtz. He took the team over when his dad, who was everything you don't want in an owner died.

mixing poker and chess references does not work well, pick one and stick with it

Too hungover to handle both?

We are entering a wonderful new era of cubs baseball. Let's take this chance to bury the hatchet and move on from the ugliness.

In other words, please keep it civil in this time of happiness!

I believe I helped myself to some crow in the main Theo thread, but I will gladly have some more in here.

I am riding shotgun on the next Ricketts family safari.

If we can't be nice after this, it is never going to happen.

Would this be the correct place to discuss whether or not the Cubs should be willing to make drastic changes to Wrigley to increase revenue? I used to be on the "no jumbotron ever" bandwagon but would definitely be willing to see one installed on the back side of the bleachers in LF or RF (I would prefer RF) if it's going to make the product on the field better. Also, curious to see what sort of TV deal the Cubs could negotiate whenever their current deal expires.

For the record...

The mods have done an amazing job here given the misery of being a cubs fan the past few years. Everyone has been upset and there hasn't been much good to say. Tempers were naturally short.

I'm hoping and expecting that people will be more tolerant and understanding as we move forward.

I hope they go nuts. No problem with more ads, a jumbotron, the renovations, starting their own TV network...DO IT ALL.
