My dad has always been a Yankees fan. My first baseball games were Yankees games, the Reggie Jackson era. Then in the fatefull fall of 1984 my grandmother leam me astray when we were watching the NLCS. When all was said and done, it was the first time I remember seeing an adult cry. She's now 90 some years old and has seen as many championships as myself and my 1 year old daughter. My dad has enjoyed multiple.

yeah my dad made me be a cubs fan (if he hadn't, i'd be a phillies and have one world series, three pennants and lots of division titles to celebrate already), so if i ever have kids i'm bringing them down the sad dark path of cubdom too.
