Am I the only one who yells "fall over and die, fall over and die!" on popups to Cardinals in playoff games? My wife thinks it's weird.

Haha, no you're not.

My wife gets mad at me for being a grinch. I guess she gets a jeans day at work or some dumb [expletive] like that if they win it all.

Wife doesn't understand how I can be so passionately against another team. Some crap about how I should be happy if the Cardinals win because most of the people we know are Cardinals fans.

Ugh, they're giving you gifts. Quit stranding base runners everywhere.

My wife is a Cardinal fan from St. Louis. Her dad thinks he's gonna dress my son up in Cardinal gear. I told him I'd smack the crap out of him if he did that to my kid, I wasn't joking.

This is the first game I've attempted to watch in more than a month, and the feed purpled out again. It's been out since right after the Rangers made the last out to end top 5th.

Aside from my father (who got his MBA at UW), my blood relatives are all huge Packer/Badger fans. I haven't gotten my daughter to recognize the Badgers as villains, but she knows the Cardinals (Arizona, too) are bad guys and is half-way towards that point with the Packers. (I have a hard time rooting against the team my grandfather played two sports for)

Same here. I told them if they ever buy my kids Cardinals gear that I will burn the stuff and send them the video and not to waste their money. Her sister thinks it's hilarious and she's going to do it when we have kids. I told her she'll lose babysitting privileges. That part is a joke, but my wonderful mother bought us some baby Cubs clothes the first Christmas after we got engaged. Still no kids, but the in-laws know I'm serious.
