Has it ever been announced what's wrong with Hossa?

 

I'm pretty sure part of his brain got left on the ice.

Upper body injury.

 

It's part of the process.

 

In all seriousness, the consensus is that it's not a broken jaw and the short stay in the hospital I guess rules out a skull fracture so a concussion seems most likely.

Right. I'll bet if the Hawks lose tonight, the extent of the injury will be made public tomorrow.

Shaw in, Saad out. Not surprising. Gotta remember too if we advance he can't play more than another five games and it burns a year of his contract.

 

Hoss at the UC today, said to be doing "better" but still out.

That's crazy to me that it sounds like he play again this season if the Hawks stay alive. If he is able to play in these playoffs, the ovation he'll get at the UC will be massive.

 

(Though, I'm not quite sure when the opportunity for an ovation for a single player would come up during a hockey game.)

 

I've been pumped all day for this game to start. It's be really nice if we could blow these guys out. I'm tired of the stress of OT.

When the starting lines are annoucned possibly, if he finds himself on that line. Which Q would probably do so that the crowd can give him his ovation and pump everyone up.
