Bunch of Hawks recalled today to work with the team during the playoffs. All are eligible to play, but only possibility would be Saad. And I can't see them throwing him in there. Other notable names are Morin and Pirri. Good experience for them to be up with the team right now.

 

Decision on Shaw should come soon.

Okay, so now they are saying no ruling on Shaw until tomorrow. Kind of [expletive] as it impacts the ability to prepare the lines, but it's being suggested that perhaps Shanny is waiting to see if Smith will play.

 

I guess if he is taking outcomes into account, this is fair. Of course PHX could play up an injury in the morning and then experience a miraculous recovery.

 

That said, I'll trade Shaw for Smith every day of the week.

it's funny because the coyotes have taken the illusion to a higher degree and kept him out of practice, assuming it would get shaw suspended. now, they'll have to keep him out of a game if they want him suspended. that would mean that they'd have to play the goalie that looks like derwood.

Well it sounds like Phoenix is doing what they can to try and trick the NHL into suspending Shaw.
