When Cubs are down 2 or more runs in the 9th....

...they have lost 173 straight games. Heard the stat on Ferrall's show last night. Not sure what if anything it means (and I don't know who is no. 2, 3, etc.), but its the longest such streak in the majors.

We've lost 159 games by 2 runs or more in that timeframe, so it makes sense.
