I definitely hope the Cubs don't even consider something like that, but I do hope they pencil in Campana for the roster. Even if he has a .550 OPS next season (it's .654 so far this year but that might be a little inflated), he's one of the few players in the league who can be valuable on a bench for his defense/speed alone.

It was Soriano's 10th straight season with at least 20 homers and his 126th as a Cub, tying him for 15th all-time with Andy Pafko. He joins Hack Wilson and Andre Dawsonas the only Cubs with 20 homers in each of their first five Cubs seasons.

Excuse me, you are proud of your performance? I guess its reasonable to be proud of working hard, but's its not like the hard work, concentration and passion for the game has much effect on his numbers, as he is down to .243/.283/.460/.743 for the season.
