Jesus.

Well, he'll be 23 by opening day next year and he hit .500 with a 1.232 OPS for his stint in Mesa, so I think that's probably the appropriate action.

He was there for like a week. It's still fast.

Not too fast considering it's a college draftee and the AZL. Brett Jackson was in Mesa for 3 games. Same for LeMahieu. Barney was there for 5 games. Flaherty skipped straight to Boise, Colvin too. You get the idea.

Any idea if he will be there for tonights game?

Yeah, he's in the starting lineup. Rubi Silva is shifting to 2B for today's game. He played some second in Cuba.

Yeah. For most advanced college guys who sign after the Mesa/Boise season starts, Mesa is just a chance to get their feet wet before they go to Boise or Peoria. Easterling is probably not as advanced as those guys were but he hit well enough to force the promotion.

I'm guessing DeVoss is next within a few days.

2B Cory Spangenberg was the Padres' first round pick, but that seems to be about it.

Ha led off tonight's game with another double, and scored on a Vitters sac fly. This is Ha's 4th straight game with a double since returning to AA.

Andrew McKirahan is making his debut for Arizona tonight, entering the game in the 5th inning with the AZL Cubs down 2-1.

Is Richard Jones anything more than another Justin Bour who will turn into another Rebel Ridling who will turn into another Jake Fox?

that's not fair to compare him to those guys. jake and rebel actually know how to take a walk.

You forgot Matthew Spencer.

Jones is 5 months older than Bour and Bour is putting up basically the same if not better numbers one level higher. Bour's the best of the bunch and even he's not considered much of a prospect.
