Aaron Kurcz came in out of the pen following Juan Serrano for Daytona today. Unlike the last time he came out of the pen (when a rehabbing big leaguer was in Daytona), this move to the pen looks permanent.

He's been out for like a month, hasn't he?

Yeah, he has been. I'm just hoping he's healthy and those results don't inspire any confidence.

He clearly had no control and hit his pitch count of ~25. Not really that concerned with a pitcher's injury when it's an injury to the ribs.

I had actually forgotten it was his ribs. That does make it a tad better anyway.

Arizona is now up 18-0 in the 6th. Some dude named Eduardo Gonzalez(Venezuela) is 4-5. Anyone have ANYTHING on him? Size and his Dominican numbers make me think he's a slap hitter, but I don't recall hearing anything at all on this guy from AZPhil......

Pugliese pitched 2 innings, giving up a hit and K'ing 2.

If McNutt is not fully recovered he can still be favoring the injury and changing his deleivery, which could lead to him hurt his arm obviously
