Voted AA, Marco and Jeimer. What does everyone here think of Luis Acosta? I know he was higly touted and had a bad run at DSL but i havnt heard much since.

I'd be curious about Shoulders at C if it wasn't for the fact that we just signed several guys. Still, an intriguing idea, but I imagine they'd let him work at first for now. Really don't see him at 3rd. That's like Charles Thomas at 3rd, and Thomas was pretty bad, IIRC, when he dabbled at 3rd. Charles Thomas wanted to play 3rd and hit. But he sucked there and was sent back to Mesa and basicly said, well pitch or we are releasing you. and hes been pretty good as a pitcher.

That just looks awful no matter what he had, hopefully he can get back on track

Not a good reference on whether the injury affected his power. :lol: He hasnt hit more than 3 home runs in a season since. I know we've been making fun of the Pierre comparison, but I'd gladly take a Pierre type career from Szczur. He had some pretty good peak years in the early 2000's. If Tony Campana or Evan Crawford were to become Juan Pierre, Id be thrilled. If Matt Szczur were to become Juan Pierre, Id be dissapointed. Agreed

Marcus Hatley is taking his spot in Tennessee. But he's likely to pitch out of the pen. Not sure who will take Struck's rotation spot. Has the ship sailed on Ryan Searle as a starter? Yes, i know a family that housed him in Daytona and they said he is transitioning to Closer/*th inning type guy

Most of his Runs were unearned, and his only earned was after a bad call at 2nd that would have ended the inning. But he did let up a lot of hits, was better then most of his outtings latly

If McNutt is not fully recovered he can still be favoring the injury and changing his deleivery, which could lead to him hurt his arm obviously

Hy guys im a new member here, thought since i mostly look in the minors section i would post here, love MiLB and the Cubs. A little about me, i batboy for the Class A Kane County Cougars, yes that means im young (16) but i still know a lot about baseball, and learn more nad more everyday on the job. Going to see Peoria play @ Peoria this Sunday, il tell everyone what i see while im down there! Too bad Peoria doesnt come back to KCC until August

New member here! Been reading for a while though Szczur is a good choice, should be interesting to watch, and Lee, well i called it back before the trade, that trading him would be a HUGE mistake, the kids gonna be a superstar
