Southpaw is still MIA and with today's game being a day game, I figured I'd get this thread up.

http://a.espncdn.com/combiner/i?img=/i/headshots/mlb/players/full/5580.png&w=350&h=254

3.84 ERA, 1.23 WHIP in 11 games, 10 starts.

http://a.espncdn.com/combiner/i?img=/i/headshots/mlb/players/full/4138.png&w=350&h=254

8.31 ERA, 1.85 WHIP in two starts

The Cubs had a good start to the homestand by taking two of three against the Mets and scoring 24 runs in the process. Hopefully they can keep it up this weekend against the Pirates and Astros to get closer to the Cards heading into the series in St. Louis next weekend.

Also, if someone wants to inform the Cubs that winning more than two straight games is a good thing, that would be wonderful.

GO CUBS!

In the middle of the night? Really? I just woke up early specifically to post this.

Sorry about the confusion. Normally, the game thread is supposed to be up the night before the game. You can take your regular turn on Saturday, if you would.

Well I will be camping this weekend, and while I will have my iPhone with me, I'm not sure of the signal strength.

Can the Cubs go on a roll and win like 8 of 10 so I get some hope back? They're bad, but still good enough where I keep watching in case they make a push and get above 500.

Sorry. I figured that with it being a day game on Thursday and no thread put up in the nineish hours after the game and no mention of a thread coming, that you were gone. Somebody also missed the thread for Thursday's game (not sure if that was you or someone that has been skipped) and today's game is a day game so I figured I would start the thread.

I think it's a bad idea to have a gun anywhere near you when watching the Cubs.
