Cubs escape again.

 

Good thing it took 3 pitchers and taking our best Homerun threat out of the game to escape the 7th inning of Game 1 of a freaking doubleheader.

Colvin struck out swinging

Soto grounded out to short, 6-3

Fukudome blooped a single to the catcher

Castro popped out to second base

Popped it straight up on the infield and it dropped between the mound and home plate.

I'm assuming if we get the lead to Jason Bartlett that Marmol will come in for the 1+ save.
