Sadly we might have to watch this happen 5 more times over the next 5 years unless the Bulls can go out and get a stud player to put alongside Rose. I'm sick of being a fan of Chicago teams that pray defense will help them score more points then the other team only to watch the defense collapse while the offense cant put any points on the board.

Yup. That's what makes this so frustrating, because this probably the best shot the Bulls had at an "easy" title with how much better the East is going to be REAL soon.

You won't find a #2 guard that can have an impact remotely close to what Howard can bring. I also think you won't be able to find a #2 guard worth trading for.

Of course they will. That doesn't change the fact that LeBron James is an absolutely fantastic basketball player who plays 4th quarter (see: any quarter) basketball better than any player in the league. I was wrong about the last few years, and clearly something was different about LeBron against the Celtics last year, but you're clearly wrong here.

The team is certainly not a disaster and, if everything remains constant, a shooting guard upgrade might be enough... The problem is that everything won't remain constant. Miami is only going to get better, so I'm not convinced that one star plus a bunch of solid players will be able to complete with two stars plus Bosh and quality veteran role-players that fill their current holes.

Nobody expected this kind of season YET because the team is largely as young as they are. People think it's "crazy" that you're talking about them like they're a creaky collection of vets who caught lightening in a bottle.

why is miami going to get much better? lebron, wade and bosh are basically at the peak of their careers right now. the supporting cast blows, but unless they luck into some awesome late draft picks they're not going improve much. they don't have the cap room to go out and sign anyone really good; it'll just be the mike millers and mike bibbys of the world rotating through as their supporting cast.

I can see them not being number 1 seed good again but I don't see anyway in hell they revert back to an average team. I understand being upset about the loss but this is a little overemotional

If a shooter is what the Bulls need right now, Bogans should get at least 30 minutes a game going forward, unless Korver gets hot.

 

But a shooter isn't what they need. They need someone else who can create with the ball in his hands.
