leonard meyerson laughs at your silly recruit

Considering that silly recruit is rated higher, grades out the same, is taller and heavier, I'm not sure why Leonard would be laughing at him.

Leonard was a top 35 player, who has your guy rated that high?

Rivals

Leonard 31

Woodbury 42

Scout

Leonard 5star

Woodbury 4star

Fail.

Rated higher where exactly? Cause it ain't Rivals or Scout.

lol? Was it that funny? It didn't even make any sense. Anyways, he was wrong saying that Woodbury is ranked higher, but they're similarly ranked. Woodbury has a much better offer list though and had Ohio State, Kansas, North Carolina.

God you guys are so [expletive] weird. You hype up your players/recruits so much every year then by January when you're thoroughly mediocre despite all your studs you all say the entire team sucks, you hate most of them and can't wait until the 2013 class comes in because that's when things will be different. Rinse and repeat.

It makes sense because Leonard didn't play in it. As such he wouldn't be ranked as high as Woodbury. But anytime they've both been ranked Leonard has ranked higher. Also Leonard committed very early, UNC came after him though after he was committed. He also just played on our national team, he's always been very highly regarded.

The only group I've wanted gone were last years seniors, sans DMac, and none of them were even 4 stars. I've wanted different kids to get a chance to play at certain times, but your story is so much funnier your way.

ESPN had Leonard rated 47 and a 4-star, Woodbury rated 41 and a 4-star. Picking nits, but so are you.

Who uses ESPN services though? They're awful.

Why? Because they rated an Iowa recruit higher than an Illinois recruit?

Yeah, I see difference between them and Rivals all the time, but guess what, I see just as many differences between Rivals and Scout, too. None of them are perfect, and all of them either miss on guys by projecting too low or too high.

You seem a bit testy that Iowa just got a really good player.

I don't mind that at all, I actually took some classes at the University of Iowa and knew a lot of their players during the early part of the 00s. I don't hate Iowa at all. But, in general, most people don't value ESPNs rankings a whole lot.

ESPN's rankings are really bad. They may be improving now that they hired away Scout's guy, but they've never been worth a damn before.

Also the 2012 class is historically awful. It's why Orris is a giant waste of time.

espn's been getting better but they're still a joke.

i'm just [expletive] with you, i think it's great that they got this woodburg guy.

I don't really understand the bickering over a recruit like this period, there are a lot of unknowns and I won't claim to know anything about recruiting because I really don't but don't recruiting services take things like what school recruited a players and what state they played ball in into account? I'm sure a player from Illinois would be rated higher than a player from Iowa in most cases unless they are someone like Harrison Barnes.

I'm not saying this is the case, I'm just saying that maybe it's the reason Woodbury is rated lower?

How athletic is this guy? Leonard is a freaky athlete, which is why so many people are in love with him.
