Roy Halladay currently taking a dump on the Astros.

He'll be the first in a long, long line to do that to Houston this year.

That is true.

The Pirates are batting Lyle Overbay clean up and the Astros are batting Bill Hall 5th. :?

If you had quizzed me, I wouldn't have guessed that either of those guys were still in the majors.

Phillies announcer just mentioned how the the Phillie fans were upset when he went 3-0 on Quintero before striking him out because "With Halladay you never know, he might not give up anything". Next hitter the pitcher Brett Myers hits a single up the middle. Edited by ELCABALLO45

Don't know why they don't have Alvarez batting 4th. Pirates should be trying to get Walker, McCutchen and Alvarez as many ab's as possible.

The Pirates seem to be collecting a lot of really talented guys now that they are willing to spend in the draft.

Yeah, they are slowly but surely turning things around. They really need some of their pitching prospects to turn out and become #1, or 2 types in order to take that next step.

How is the coaching in their minor leagues? All that talent doesn't do much for them if they can't properly develop it.

I would say between Taillon and Allie they have a chacne to get one. Plus they will probably pick Cole.

Ubaldo Jimenez has given up 5 ER today. He didn't give up his fifth earned run last year until his seventh start last year, which came on May 9.

Can anyone tell me why the Dodgers/Giants game is blacked out in Iowa on the Extra Innings trial?

I was just gonna come and ask a similar question. My sister in brother in law live about 30 miles out of Chicago and the Giant-Dodger game is being blacked out as well. WTF?

I found a discussion on dbstalk.com about it and it sounds like people in the Cubs/Sox market are blacked out for some reason, probably a glitch. A guy in Cleveland says he's getting it.

Tried calling DirecTV and a clueless CSR told me that it was because that's what happens when games don't sell out. Okay.
