I mean, I'm glad he's not at SS anymore either, but seriously? Even when he was here I never understood the extreme hatred that was thrown his way. Yeah, all he hit were singles and he wasn't a very good fielder, but I don't think it warranted this level of venom.

 

The way he talks about our franchise, which is the reason his no talent ass even has a Major League career, doesn't do too much to make him one of my favorite baseball people. He's an annoying Cardinal, isn't that enough to make him hateable.

Uh..... no. I'm not. I guess I just don't hate him nearly as much as everyone else does and I don't understand exactly why. So he said some things on his way out the door. It just seems kind of childish to me to be like LOL THERIOT STRUCK OUT 14 TIMES THIS WEEK AND MADE 6 ERRORS LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL HE Sox, but to each his own, I guess.

In, I believe the eighth inning last night, ole Al managed to work in about four different cliches regarding Theriot's gamerism in just 30 seconds. I've already lost track of how many times he's been called "gritty." Seriously.
