Sleepwalking through the early game has worked for the Jets against crappy teams.

Now let's see what happens against a non-crappy team.

17-3 is what happens

edit - 24-3

If this was the Packers and McCarthy went 5 wide in the cold, Packer fans would be freaking out right now.

Also, I actually think the Bears can beat the Pats next week. And I am not just saying that to jinx them.

And it just keeps getting better.

Sanchez's QB rating is 26.9.

Throwing up prayers to Edwards doesnt work as well against teams that play actual football.

lol Sanchez

This is the game that just keeps on giving. QB rating down to 22.5.

Odd timing for this statement. This game has done nothing but crush any hope I had for next week. We won't lose by 40, but it's hard imagining any scenario where we'd pull off a win. At this point I'm just hoping not to get embarrassed.

I thought New England had a bad defense?

they have a few decent players but their scheming is just flawless. they are very rarely unprepared, they adapt to every style of play. they are the anti-bears on defense.

i'm not saying that they don't prepare well, they just don't adapt, the tampa-2 is a catchall that requires very little imagination.

1. The Bears are at home.

2. The good offenses the Bears have played haven't lit them up points wise so far.

3. The offense is playing pretty well right now.

4. Short week for the Pats.

The Bears have a good chance of winning this Sunday.
