for the first time all season, i just saw rose quit. after he turned it over and couldnt catch up for the block, he flat out quit on the final possession. jogged the ball up court and passed it too late to get a shot off.

 

And if Rose fouled him trying to block the attempt it probably turns into an and 1 and people are ripping on him for his bad basketball iq or something.

 

I don't know wtf he was doing on the last offensive possession though. That's unacceptable.

 

i wasnt talking about the attempted block. that was fine.

 

i was talking about his failure to get a shot up after that. there was plenty of time to get it up the court and get a shot. instead he jogged it up and then passed it away as time was expiring. not sure if he ost track of time or whatever, but it looked pretty bad.

I hate the fact that the ball is out of bounds when it goes over the back board and touches nothing. The hoop is in front of the end line so it makes no sense to me.

true, but playoff games tend to be closer, so a lot comes down to free throw shooting down the stretch

 

Yeah, but it's not like they're just going to flip this around. You've got a bunch of the team shooting worse than they usually have in their careers from the line, so unless they just forgot how to shoot free throws it's just one of those things. Supposedly they're shooting a ton from the line in practice, so there's not much more that can be done outside of just getting it done.
