Anyone with thoughts or preferences for rule changes of any kind, please offer them up here. I'm leaving for Vegas this am and won't be back until Monday. If someone could post on the message board at Roadkill that this thread has been started, it might be a good idea to discuss and change rules before teams start dropping their players.

Cap points limits, exemption eligibility, etc.. Whatever you would like to see changed, feel free to offer it up here.

Cap - 2000

Exemptions - Keep the current three year structure, but if you want to keep in the 4th year, it will cost you 1/2 the points. In the 5th year, it'll cost 3/4 of the points. Thereafter, full value

Starts - 7 still

Weekly Lineup - Keep it the same, you have to prepare your lineup by Monday.

How about to keep the math simpler, we eliminate the decimals when adding up our players' points?

you should lose your best start if you go over 7 in a week. this seems like a no-brainer.
Unless it's due to something unforeseen like a pitcher being moved up from Monday to Sunday at the last minute.

One thought that came to mind as I was reviewing the minor league eligibility and exemption rules to start planning for next year. I noticed an inconsistency in that the minor league eligibility rule for batters is based on at-bats, but the exemption rule is based on plate appearances. I think it would be easier to keep track of if they were both based on ABs or both based on PAs.
