Should I accept this trade?

League starts 2 RB, 2 WR, and 1 RB/WR flex. Was offered this this morning:

 

Greg Jennings for Thomas Jones + Donald Driver

 

This would give my team, The Kimmy Gibblers, a roster of:

 

QB Rodgers, Roethlisberger

RB Mendenhall, Tomlinson, Tolbert, Jacobs, F.Jones

WR Megatron, Jennings, Colston, Lloyd, Clayton, S.Rice*

TE Clark

etc, etc

 

SO basically, does anyone feel that Jennings upside the rest of the way is more beneficial to me than having 2 solid guys in TJ and DD? Should I sit tight and hope that Colston rebounds soon?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

That RB situation looks pretty shaky. Is Tolbert going to stay the starter the entire year? Is LT going to hold up? I'd probably stand pat.

Thanks. Had Jennings two years ago and I think I hadn't completely gotten over our break-up, without realizing just how much a drop he had last year, and how ridiculously consistent Driver has been, and looks to remain.

I wouldn't do it. RB is a weaker spot for you and WR is a strength, to give up depth at a weakness to gain at a position that already is a strength is going to hurt you IMO. If you would do the trade there would probably be weeks where Colston/Johnson/Lloyd/Clayton all would be better or at least equal plays to Jennings.

Greg Jennings is hit or miss. Stick with the consistent production. Finley is really hurting his value this year.

I think Jennings is probably an upgrade over Driver, but I agree with the others that Jones is too valuable to give up. Your team looks pretty solid.

 

I'm in the same boat as you regarding Colston. He's been pissing me off. To think that I drafted LeSean McCoy, Ahmad Bradshaw, Hakeem Nicks, and Jermichael Finley after I drafted him. At least those guys have been good for me.

 

I'm hoping Colston comes around. The Saints haven't been hitting on all cylinders yet.
