What do you guys think about trading Ray Rice? If I could get a decent RB and a decent WR for him....would you do it?

I'm in a PPR league so, I could probably get an undervalued pass catcher like Reggie Bush, Hightower, or Jamal Charles and a decent WR like Colston or Crabtree. Thoughts?

I feel like Rice hasn't explode yet this seasons so you might get people undervalueing him. If you can get 2 solid consistent players for him than go for it though.

I would hold onto him, especially if you are in a PPR league. He will be a monster.

i'm actively trying to trade for him...the guy in our league doesn't like him...he's a dummy.

well, yeah, you can look at it from the other perspective. i would wait though. his value is as low as it will be this year.

i didn't mention that the piece he wants to work around on my end is greg olsen...still think i should wait?

yes, yes, and yes. i think there's a good chance that olsen finishes the year outside of the top 10 TEs. really, i would trade any TE for Rice. what else does he want besides Olsen?

we'll probably have to do a draft pick due to his financial situation.

i want to trade ryan mathews, olsen, sims-walker and a high draft pick(probably the extra 1st i have or a 2nd) for rice and maclin.

he kinda just wants to do olsen for maclin, straight up...which i like, but i want to work rice into the deal and get crazy with it, haha.

I just traded Ryan Mathews and Marion Barber for Ray Rice and BenJarvus Green-Ellis. Any thoughts? Good deal?????

I have AP and Rice as my 1/2 RB's now and it's a 12 team league. BenJarvus/Tolbert/Mike Bell/Rashad Jenningas as my RB depth.

I like it assuming you don't have to start Green-Ellis now.

He should be a matchup based flex guy. I'm pretty high on Tolbert as my flex play on a weekly basis though.

Yeah, I wouldn't necessarily panic on Rice and dump him, but I'd certainly be worried if I had him.

The reason he's been projected as an elite RB isn't his running but his pass catching, especially in PPR leagues. They are way, way down this year. He had 78 receptions for 700 yards last year, he's on target for 44 and 290 this year. He doesn't seem to be running it as well either. The Ravens also face some pretty tough defenses. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to trade him, especially now that his value is so low, but I wouldn't count on him to be a stud like last year.

I just got offered Andre Johnson and Ricky Williams for Ray Rice. What should I do? '

I'm leaning toward declining, because that would leave me with Williams, Moreno, Spiller, and Green-Ellis as my RBs. But I would be loaded at WR with A. Johnson, Calvin Johnson, and Fitzgerald.

It is a PPR league.

Yeah...you'd be in some sorry RB shape with that trade.

If Ronnie Brown was hurt and Moreno wasn't hurt....it wouldn't be so bad. Ricky Williams was a top 7-8 RB in our league last year.
