Dammit on not being able to score with 48 seconds of 2 man advantage. 5 minutes of power play over the last 6-7 minutes of game time without a goal overall.

 

Still got the lead tho. Just would have been nice to extend it before intermission because I don't think 2 gaols is gonna win this one

This is BS. The Hawks had Lu down and possession of the puck after a couple of players crashed down near the net, and the refs randomly called the play dead claiming that the goal moved, when no such thing happened.

 

A couple of over seconds later, a Nucks player had a slapshot allowed when the puck was clearly over the blue line for an offsides.

 

Also remember that earlier in this game the Canucks were awarded a goal that shouldnt have counted and the Hawks had a goal disallowed that should have counted.

Another questionable penalty on the Hawks, another crappy kill effort and the Canucks get it right back. This is beginning to be a good game despite the crappy officiating on both sides.

Have you been watching the whole game? I try not to get into bitching about the refs (I know, I fail a lot), but this game has been atrocious. Although the Canucks have benefit most from the refs, there have been a few things in favor of the Hawks that have been odd as well.

Well it was a fantastic game, but a failure as we got 0 points out of a game I'd say we slightly outplayed Vancouver. Not to say Vancouver is not the better team, they are, but the Hawks showed they can play with them. Now hopefully the Hawks have a chance to prove it again.

Yup, Hawks are not gonna be making the playoffs. Another loss tonight. Just 1-4-0 in their last 5 games. Where's the heart guys?

Now that I've calmed down a bit, I am still holding out hope that they sneak into the 8th spot but lets face it. This team is just not good enough for whatever reason. They've been close to full strength for awhile and just arent getting results

I would say that the Hawks should get 2 points tonight from a really really bad Oilers team who is at the bottom of the NHL in points, but the Hawks have already lost 2 games in regulation to them this year, giving them 1/8th of their wins this year.
