jeez what has happened to gaub? i was pretty high on him coming into this year, at least as far as his ability to be a decent middle reliever at the big league level. seems like he's a mess now.

nice to see kirk and reed keep throwing well. pierre lepage probably doesn't need to be in boise any more, but peoria doesn't really need middle infield help. aaron kurcz probably will go to peoria at some point if he keeps this up. and why is alvaro ramirez in boise? he's 24 years old.

For what it's worth, last year's supposed big money Dominican signee Willson Contreras is off the suspended list and played his first game yesterday for the DSL2 team.

Actually, he returned yesterday.

Gaub can't seem to find the plate this year. He's always been a bit wild, but at Iowa he was averaging upwards of 7 BB/9.

I don't think there's any reason to give up hope on him though. His career minor league numbers and stuff all indicate that he'll be a good reliever. I think he should have been with the Cubs in the majors this season but what do I know...

jae-hoon ha has also been doing reasonably well for a 19 year old in full season ball, but the guy needs to learn how to take a walk.

I thought Walks just clogged the bases \:D/

Anyone have an idea of if/when we'll see Reggie Golden?

AZ Phil mentioned he reported to Mesa some time last week and has been in uniform. I'm guessing we'll see him soon enough.
